I would like to thank Travis for showing me the Tao
I thought all the doors of yoga had been opened for me then I found ‘the path’ a gate way to so much more.

Yin Yoga
is a beautiful, restorative practice, working with the the Chinese form of natural, energy medicine, opening our Meridian channels to allow a healthy flow of Qi into the body. After a Yin class you can feel a similar vibration as you might after an Acupuncture or Shiatsu session as the energy channels in the body, come into balance and harmony with each other.
So What is Yin Yoga?
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, therapeutic style of yoga. Yin postures are more passive postures, mainly done on the floor either seated or lying down. There are no sun salutations, no planks, no warriors, no jump throughs! There is in fact no dynamic movement and usually no standing poses at all.
Yin Yoga is unique in that you are asked to relax into the posture, allowing the body to soften and release naturally without pushing or straining. It is not uncommon for postures to be held for three to five minutes, even 10 minutes at a time. The time spent in these postures is much like time spent in meditation, as the mind shifts from yang to yin, or from active to passive.
Three key points / rules in Yin Yoga
The simplicity we find in the stillness and the silence of Yin practice just might be the most potent medicine for our modern lives.
“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why”
-Mark Twain
☯️ May the Dao be with you ☯️
In these classes we will find stillness, experience the edge and come home.
We start the class with a mediation to bring the mind into the body. To let go of all the Yang energy of the day
The class will then unfold into postures being held for 2,3 or maybe 5 minutes while we find that space in time to dissolve.
The class will end with deep rest, and sounds from my Jupiter Gong.
‘A great student, when he hears of the Dao earnestly practices it.
A good student, when he hears of the Dao sometimes loses it.
A typical student, when he hears of the Dao, ridicules it’
Lao Tzu.
