About Pregnancy yoga
Pregnancy yoga is the perfect exercise for pregnant women and is recommended by midwives and doctors. It can enhance feelings of well-being and balance during this exciting period of change.
We aim to be gender neutral and all are welcome.
Partners are welcome.
Jill is a mother and grandmother, she completed her pregnancy yoga training in May 2011 with The Yoga Campus in London & the Sitram Partnership, with Uma Dinsmore Tuli.
Her classes will gently guide you into total relaxation, giving you techniques you can do at home and ending with a long relaxation with breath, movement and sound.
We will use aids such as pillows blocks and cushion for your comfort, also these techniques can then be used at home to aid restful sleep.
Our classes are small so that everyone receives individual attention.
During pregnancy yoga can:
build strength, stamina and flexibility
ease pregnancy aches and pains
preparing you for the labour
give you time to nurture yourself and your baby
relieve anxiety and aid restful sleep
Also giving you the opportunity to meet other mums-to-be
The class is 60 minutes long beginning with effective guided breathing exercises suitable for the birth & followed by gentle stretch yoga, synchronising breath & movement & ending with deep relaxation and sound.
